How SureSweep uses your Google data
The email cleaner is coming in a future version. When it's available, connecting Gmail is optional. You sign in on Google's own page, and SureSweep reads only each email's sender, subject, date, size and unsubscribe link, plus how many emails each Gmail category holds. It never reads what your emails say. It uses this to show you counts and lists on your iPhone, and moves only the emails you choose to Gmail's Trash. It never sends email and never permanently deletes anything.
Your iPhone talks directly to Gmail. There's no SureSweep server, so your data is never sent to us or anyone else, used for ads, or read by people. SureSweep's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details are in the privacy policy.
